Hi,

just like the subject stated,
i am using Windows 10,
just bought a new notebook and wants to transfer the old files to the new one
I have over 100 folders with files i want to transfer. i know that the file will keep the original date
but when the folders are copied to the new computer, it will NOT kept the original date.

Please someone hint me how i can keep the original date.
I have tried robocopy, i can only manage to copy the folder only with the original date, but when i copy its file to the folder, the folder update the date

Please , someone give me some hint.

Been tried robocopy and richcopy.
i don't know if these two will work, however i have tried so many setting but still not copying...

May be i will answer back my thread and see if anyone find it useful.
I turn out to find a software call "Teracopy"
just copy the old file to a USB, run Teracopy, then move to the new place. all folders and files are keeping its original modified date from the old computer.
