Windows 10 Clean Install question?

When I upgraded from 7 to 8, at the time I paid $40 and I downloaded the OS with the Microsoft install media, it asked me if I wanted to do the upgrade, burn it to CD or USB. I burned it to a USB and then rebooted and wiped my windows only ssd and did the install. My windows 8 key they gave me worked and it activated. I'm assuming this is how it will work for 10 as well.

See my above post. Gabriel Aul is saying you can do a fresh install after doing an upgrade.

Yes, I saw that, thanks, and it seems that it's more than a Refresh or Reset from the OS, which is a very good thing.
