Windows 10 build with a 10.x kernel?

Hello

I want to install a Windows 10 build with a 10.x kernel to see if any of our software has issues and fix them now before after.

Is there any build floating around? I don't care if it has bugs, just want one that reports its kernel is 10.x to make sure our programs don't have any issues.

Thank you

the kernel will not be versioned as 10x but its likely 6.4

Edit,

So I just saw this, apparently they are going to bump it up from 6.4 to 10.0
So if it is not in the current release build, you may have to wait until next year as the rumor is that there will be no new build till then

Im not currently running the current build so I could not tell you

They should bump it. Just like windows 7 should have read out VER 7.0.xxxx, then 8 as 8.0.xxxx, abd 8.1 as 8.1.xxxx

I think the last major kernel change came when Vista was introduced. Everything after that has been incremental and mostly gui based. Mostly.
Kernel changes are not like OS changes. New ones just don't pop up and go from 6 to 10.
I guess if public sway wants it to go from 6 to 10 it can but I imagine it's just a numbers game.

Negative on this one so far Red Rider.
Downloaded new iso and installed today.

OS Name: Microsoft Windows Technical Preview
OS Version: 6.4.9879 N/A Build 9879
