Windows 10: Are these features gone?

I tried searching the net for this but couldn't find anything.

1. Recent Documents - I used this all day long, every day since I can't even remember when. Is there a way to add it to the start menu? I can't seem to find it.

2. Keyboard shortcuts - Another feature I used for many, many programs (ctrl+alt+<insert key here>). I have shortcuts left over from Win7 that still say the keyboard shortcut is set (and I deleted and re-applied them), but they shortcuts don't work.

Even if they do work, where do I find some of the windows apps? For example, I had the calculator set to ctrl+alt+C, and I was going to try it with the new calculator, but when I searched for it the only thing that came up was calc.exe from the windows.old folder.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

No those features are still there and I use recent documents myself.... I just use classic shell to make it behave like windows 7.

File explorer in the start menu once clicked on shows recent documents. Not sure if it's expandable?

Keyboard shortcuts look like they work still. Not sure how they were done in the past.

I tried it and it works. Guess one could just make a folder on the desktop to hold all the shortcuts.

Calc.exe for example is in C: \Windows\System32
