Windows 10 Anniversary update has me pulling my hair out

So there is only one issue I am having, when I reboot windows all my context menus and text input lags. Wether it be in a browser or on the task bar. Reinstalling the Nvidia driver fixes it (until I reboot), just recently I have found switching my screen resolution fixes it, even if I immediately switch back to the resolution I booted in. It's a royal PITA to do this EVERY time I reboot.

I have all drivers up to date, I have tried rolling back Nvidia drivers. I have used CClean to clean the registry, I have reinstalled Nvidia drivers clean using Guru3d's Display Driver Uninstaller. Same issue persists.

Is there any way to fix this without rolling back the Windows 10 update?

I wonder what would happen if you uninstalled your video drivers and let Windows choose the drivers that it likes for that card.
