Windows 10 64 bits running my USB 3.0 hubs at USB 2.0 speeds...help please

So, I have two USB 3.0 hubs and on two Windows 10 computers I have tested, I cannot get it to run a USB 3.0 speeds.
If I connect the testes device like flash drive directly to the USB 3.0 port on my computer then it runs around 125MB but the moment I plug into the hubs, they run around 35MB.
This is driving me crazy :/
Anyone has a hack, drivers, anything to help with this?
Under Windows 7 the same hubs run at full speed.

Thanks!

Ok so I was able to get one of the Hubs working (brand VEMONT and no model part). It only works on my Laptop though. On my main PC (both running windows 10 64its) still wont run at full speed.
One thing I notice is that on Device Manager my laptop shows it as Generic SuperSpeed Generic USB Hub. On my main PC it only shows as Generic USB hub. I have tried uninstalling and letting it reinstall but no luck.
I am about to just get a long USB 3.0 cable and forget about the hub! :/
I did have a USB 2.0 hub also on my main pc so I removed it and still wont show that SuperSpeed hub device. Also, I cannot even select it manually when trying to upgrade driver. On my Laptop, it is an option for me to select.
Thanks!

Yeah, Windows 10 64-bit 1607's USB3.0 drivers have MASSIVE bugs, mostly around compatibility.

Edit: Or, possibly, they do a lot more strict error-checking, for security reasons.

I recently opened a few Adata UV128 Yellow/Black USB3.0 16GB flash drives, and 3 out of 3 tested, were not recognized by Win10 at all. Magically, they work fine in BIOS and in a Win7 Pro 64-bit SP1 multi-boot install on the same hardware.

TL;DR: (Certain) USB3.0 devices, work in Win7 64-bit, but NOT in Win10 64-bit. Problem!

I am just going to get two long extension USB cables for the rear ports and a regular USB 2.0 hub for my slow devices and call it a day. Seriously how can they mess up this bad for what is otherwise a nice OS... :/

BTW, I didn't mean to imply that ALL USB3.0 hubs don't work on Win10. Only some don't work. I'm using an Orico 7-port USB3.0 hub from Newegg, that's working fine on multiple machines, with USB3.0 devices as well as USB2.0 devices plugged into it.

Link does not work.

Also on the machines it does not work on, where these fresh installs or upgrades? Just thinking maybe the old win7 usb3 drivers might cause an issue

Oh and are these powered or un-powered hubs?
As it turns out, the USB 3.0 port itself is not working under windows 10. While my flashdrive would score high on CrystalMark, neither of my Portable Drives will be recognized as USB 3.0 plus when transferring a big file, the Flashdrive will run at 35MB speeds.
The hub is powered.
So that is why I decided to just get a newer USB card and see if it fixes the issue.
As much as I love my x58 and 4.5 Ghz X5650 6 core processor, these extras is where my system is showing its age 😀

How are you testing the access speed? Your using some testing software like crystaldiskkmark myself.
Large files will transfer at top speed but if your transferring a lot of small files the speed will show real low speeds.

CrystalMark and large files (huge ISO) to maximize its speed.

I dindt say I only tested with flash drives. I used the same devices on my other windows 10 and the files transferred at USB 3.0 speeds so to me that is a good clear test.
