Hi folks,

My system specification are as bellow :

  • PIII 733Mhz
  • Kingston PC133 128MB SDRAM X 2
  • Asus CUSL2 Series (ATX, 133MHz FSB)

Albeit I have reinstalled the whole OS, it still doesn't work at all. Pls come and rescue ASAP !! Thanks !!

try going into your power management and turn it off...this will make you manually push the button to shutdown, but i think there are some complications with windows ME and 733 mhz and up with hdd that have large cache

hope this helps...i could be wrong though

try the patch that's linked through that thread, it's from microsoft even though it's off the micronpc website. microsoft acknowledged there's a bug with some of the newer faster hard drives with a large cache, like the one you have, on faster systems. what happens is windows shuts the pc down before it gets the chance to save to the drive what was in the temporary cache.
