Window XP under Window 98se preferences

Has anybody tested games using Window XP using Window 98SE preferences and seen if the frame rate are identical or close. I know the Raedon 8500 has a preformance lag with XP whereas geoforce 3 performance delta between XP and 98 SE is less.

You mean game configuration files (i.e. Counterstrike config.cfg file) created under a different version of Windows?

I'm using the configuration files I created under Windows 98 for HalfLife/TFC/CS, UT and QIII on my machine now which is Win2K. I've never experienced any problems doing this.

My geoforce works fine with the 98se/xp (minimal lag)
