Window vents

Need a little help here. I have been to the auto part stores and they just look at me with the blank stare 😕

I am looking to buy the smoke windows vents for my 2000 rodeo, but I am having trouble finding the ones I want. I have looked at many different applications on different vehicles in parking lots and I have decided I DO NOT want the ones that just stick on the outer door frame above the window with double sided tape. They just look bad IMHO. I would rather find ones that install into the track seam on top.

Anyone know what brand specifically does this? I have been to the major brand sites, but the pictures and descriptions do not give me enough details.

Thanks for any help! 🙂

Oh my bad. Thanks for the correction. I will tell autoventshade that their website needs to be updated

Ok, I have a start now. On that site they have the Qwik-Snap Ventvisor, but it's not listed for my truck. At least I have a name now to search for!

Thanks!

I was trying to explain the confusion of the parts counter people. If someone came into a parts store asking for a "window vent" I would offer them a wind-wing from an old ford pickup.

Maybe I was a bit vague in my original post. I call them a vent because thats mainly what I use them for. When I am parked and want to cool the truck or driving in rain and don't want the windows to fog. Wind doesn't bother me. They knew what I was talking about, but when I told them I wanted an interal mounting kit instead of the tacky external tape kits, they just looked at me like I was crazy. Basically telling me they don't exist.

I had them years ago for a car I had but could not remember the name. I did find another company that makes strictly internal mount, ClimAir. They make the WeatherFlector "deflectors" 🙂 but are like $80! and they are a light smoke color not dark.

Trying to find a lower priced alternative, but it is proving to be more difficult than expected. Oh well, off to more searching! 🙂
