Window Tinting for BMW? in Torrance/Long Beach area

I need to get the BMW windows tinted.

Does anyone know of a good and reputable place in the Torrance/Long Beach area to get this done?

And any tips I should know about before I get this done?

Does it matter if it's a BMW or not? Does BMW use special glass that requires a special shop? Just open the phonebook and go to anyone of the places that carries quality film and a warranty.

try gettin vkool window tint

its basically clear (so u dont get pulled over), and blocks the UV right VERY well (so ur car dont get hot in the summer)

Be careful. They are VERY strict about window tint laws in the LA area. Make sure you go to a shop that will test your tint the same way the cops will to be sure you are not breaking the law.

When I asked this very same question on bimmerforums.com, a friendly fellow member pointed me to The Tint Pros in Huntington Beach. He said they do a top-notch job at good prices. Having had no prior experiences with tinting, I took his word for it... I still can't comment on their work myself as the money that I'd saved for tinting will instead go towards a nice UUC Evo SS kit.

I can bear the sun until the heat cranks up mid-to-late spring here (after we're inundated w/showers & rain earlier in the spring & winter). It's the look of a nice tint that definitely wants me to get it done sooner though. I no doubt will be paying the above place a visit when I once again have (very) disposable income. 😛
