Window tint for car windows...

I figure many of you (us) comp. nuts are also car nuts as well. My sister-in law wants a tint job, and I did a pickup once back in the mid '80's and it turned out nice, so I'm confident I can do the job well, I just need some help picking out the best film.

So I'm looking for some opinions/testimonials/links for some good auto window tint/film. I'm not even sure if there are a lot of different brands/types to choose from. And can they be found online for a better price (like most things can) than a auto parts store? I see a lot of tint jobs with bubbles. Is that a result of bad installation or low quality tint that bubbles over time?

Any help/opinions would be appreciated 🙂

Use 3M tint and I think usually bubbles are from bad installers. A well installed tint will fade before it ever bubbles.

I paid $160 to tint all the windows in my Accord last year. I did the back, back door and back quarter windows one shade below limo and the fronts I did a medium; still very visible though.

mine cost me 210.

life time warranty against bubbling and fading. he said if I was ever unhappy about it, he'll redo them for me.

If you get good tint, it won't fade. Bubbling is from poor application.
