Window or no window?

I've decided on the Antec P160, but I'm not sure if I should go with the window or non-window version. The window version has 2 120mm fans however, but I'm not sure if I want the guts so exposed. I have this thing about looks. If I were to get the non-window case, what would be a good 120mm fan to add to it?

If you are gonna be the only one to see it, just don't get a window, if you ever wanna show off the insides, get a window, simple as that :)

A window is only necessary if you're going to rice your case with neon garbage, otherwise it would be a dark void lit up only by any LEDs on your mobo or NIC..

Well, the windowed case has an extra 120mm fan with 3 blue led's on it, but would that make it shine much?

I think it would shine pretty well, I didn't realize the case I bought had one, boy I was suprised!, I think the window looks better personally but it's not really necessary.

You're just not enthusiast material if you dont have a window :)

I LOVE looking into my system - at night it looks so sexy seeing all the components lit up in blue/purple light, along with UV-glow IDE cables weaving about ;) Of course, that requires 2 coloured cold cathode tubes and 1 UV one. So you gotta make sure you have the space for all that lighting.

also you should think about noise. even a nicely made window will produce slitghly more vibrations then a all steel/aluminum enclosure. also having a window will result you in now being about to cover that area with sound insulation mats. if silence if a big deal with you, don't get the window.

keep in mind its not a huge difference, i'm not saying th case is going to be super loud, but it will add a dBA or two. hth.

dude, always the window, if something is going screwy inside the computer, weird sound or something, just look right in, see if a fan is off, weird lights are on, so much easier than taking on and off the side panel, also its so fun to rice out a computer, led fans, uv sound activated lights, trueblue psu, lan mobo, ohh... ohh..... ..... ahhhhh yea, it makes me hot just thinking about it
