Window Kit, Round Cables & Lights

I'm experimenting on my Daughters computer. I just ordered a Windows kit that's blue. I want to add round IDE & FLOPPY cables to her system. Will any round cable glow when a neon or cathode light put in the case or do I need special round cables? If so, couldn't I use white cables with a black light (cathode)?

In order to get cables to glow, thats exactly what most ppl. use, black light. Anything inside your case thats white will really stand out and glow. It ends up looking very nice.
