I have a strange prob with one user where he cannot type into a text box even though the window is in focus and the cursor is in the text box. He has to left click in the box before it will take any keyboard entry.
The users machine is Windows XP -SP3 with RDC Client v7
The actuall app is a remote app running on Server 2008r2
To test it, I had the user RDP into a full desktop session on the server and the bug still exists, so I believe it is on the server side, not client. This issue doesn't happen when he logs into the app from my machine and uses his app login. It does happen if he logs into a full desktop session from my Win7 box though. It seems to be unique to his server profile. I can't find any KB articles on this. Can anyone help ? There is no user data on the RDP App server, so I could just blow away his profile and recreate it, but I'd preffer to find out what the cause of the prob is.
