if i wanted to get one room air conditioned (fairly small, i would guess 10 x 10 feet) ~how much would it cost for one of those window ac units??
 
ah, i love cranking up my window unit in the summer and sleeping until 1. Nothing beats it 🙂

As for pricing, you wouldnt need one very big. You could probably hunt around and find a suitable one for around $100.
 
You can find a good Sharp, Panasonic or Fodders window a/c unit for $150 at your local Walmart or CostCo.

CostCo had a great model which was 5500 BTU I think, very quiet, cooled down the room fast and best of all had a remote control!!!
 
Make sure you get one with a thermostat. The one in my living room is a straight up On and Off. It uses up so much electricity.
 
Shouldn't be more than $150.

Is this an apartment? Because some apartments will require you to pay extra if you have an AC unit.
