Window 7 not genuine?

I preordered W7 back when it was 50 bucks. Its been running fine with now problems. I get home and now it says that my copy is not genuine. What is going on? What should I do? How do I fix this.

Try to Activate/Reactivate it.

If it does not do it auto online call the 800 number.

I think it went farther than that. I was on the phone with MS for almost two hours. They had tech support remotely access my PC. Somehow my activation files got corrupt. They had to replace some activation files and give me a whole new product key. I had no idea it was going to be that much involved.

Run an overnight Memtest86+ and run your disk maker's full disk diagnostics. Take a look at the Windows System Event Log, too. You'll want to make sure your hardware is behaving.
