Window 2000 VS Win 98 & Windows 2000 VS Win ME

It's really depends on what you use the computer for. Win2000 is more stable than all of the W9x OS's (ME is also an 9x OS). If you are a strict gamer you usually get more perfomance under W9x's.
 
In my opinion
Windows 2000
its stable. well more than the 9x windows os's
and it does a good job with gaming too.
 
hmmm .........ok... i have a question concerning all these oses too...
i have a celeron 533, voodoo3, 128 ram, built in sound and lan...
and i was thinking of upgrading to win2k.. because of its improved stability and its hibernate feature..... so should i......?

My win98se is pretty stable too....
just had to reboot after 1 day 5 hrs of uptime...
 
i haev a celeron 566, voodoo3, 128 mb.....and i been running win2k for a long time...its soooo much better than win98...doesnt crash...doesnt get sluggish after a couple hours....counterstrike runs great too..hehe
