window 2000 freeze!!!

I am currently running window 2000 on IWILL kk266R with Tbird 1000@1400, and i have a crucial 256mb CL2 ram, however the window freezes so often that it is getting really ANNOYING!!, and I can't figure out whats the problem, is it because i set the multiplier too high (10.5X is what i set to), anybody got any ideas?
 
Try the system without being overclocked and see what happens. Anytime you have any OS issues nad are overclocking the should be the first thing you try before posting a thread, but that's what most people are going to recommend. Secondly, ensure that your RAM is good. Regards
 
no... its aureal... not sure if its sq1500 or the sq2500... the box say... its sq1500 but the drivers disc is sq2500 (but win2k gave its own drivers for it)
