Windoes XP 32 bit and quad core processor

My friend wants a new system built and wants a quad core system but wants to use Windows XP 32bit. Hs no interest in Vista. So will 32 bit XP be okay with an AMD quad core CPU?

LOL I know.His wife has "friends" and her dad say Vista is garbage and just to stay with plain ol 32bit. Such a waste of a system. Even after telling her I have run Vista 64 with no issues she still wants P. ahh well 🙂
