Yeah it's not the thousands of ship propellers. It's the damn wind farm...

NY Post - a far right-wing Murdoch owned rag/tabloid. Great source. They probably think harpoons are good for whales in reality.

It's a known right-wing tactic to masquerade as some environmental group for a very niche and innocuous sounding issue to block green energy projects. In this case, it might just be the right-wing echo chamber amplifying an existing group for their own ends.

Well...if the damned whales would just stay in the ocean where they belong...instead of drinking Red Bull...which, as everyone knows, gives you wings.

Shell has been doing lot of questionable activity in the seas too, basically creating large explosions that kill whales and other wildlife. You'd think renewable energy companies would know better than to kill wildlife but seems when it comes to energy humans just don't care about impacts and just care about money. Whatever it is they are doing there is probably a less impactful way but it probably costs more or yields less energy so they won't even look at it. Putting the turbines on land would be a good start. They also need to look into how to prevent bird/bat deaths as they are an issue for that, although still less than oil industry based deaths. The blades being hard to recycle is another issue but I think they are actually working on that.

Are they also running the death camps?

Magic 8 ball says "probably".

Nah, Red Squirrel went on a tangent over at "the site which shall not be named" about death camps along the US borders...not sure what silly conspiracy site he got that from, but he went balls deep on it...so much so he ended up quitting the "Site which shall not be named" over it.

it was 3-4 years ago...not sure...maybe migrant kiddies. (I think it was during the time when they were being held in camps, segregated from their parents.)

Now they just ship them off to Arkansas, to work at a McDonald's.

Yeah this is the right wing Murdoch shit machine amplifying Greenpeace while intentionally misleading to make it seem like its the wind turbines and not the installation. So if they get called out for their obfuscation they'll just blame Greenpeace, but morons like the former US President will repeat the moron version (kinda like them trying to go "windmills kill birds" while they ignore that coal and natural gas plants kill more birds). Meanwhile, reports that capping all the uncapped wells (that are legally required to be capped) in the Gulf of Mexico could cost tens of billions of dollars. That's just capping the wells and not even a BP level fuck up.

You should actually do some reading. What you're talking about are air guns which are used to seismic study the ocean floor. Seems there's a ton of news articles that point to a single study but I couldn't find anything more. Not to say O&G companies are good tenants of the environment, but i doubt they'd be able to wholesale hide all the dead whales they are apparently killing with all the studies they're doing.
