Winchester Vs NewCastle

I am looking to buy an AMD 3500+. From all the advice I have read here I should get a Winchester (90nm process) as opposed to a Newcastle. The question is:

When looking at the box, or the CPU in it, how do I tell the difference?

I am not talking about ordering online. I was physically in my local store looking at the chip/box, and the salesperson didnt have a clue, and neither do I. Sorry if this was already answered, but my searching didnt find it. Thanks in advance for any help.

This is a 90nm 3500. Match up the numbers and it should be 90nm.
This is 130nm

edit: look at the top row, as thats the one that really tells you about it
