Hey, im going to finish upgrading my comp with a new mobo, cpu, and memory.
Im going to get the Epox 9NDA3+ mobo($129) and Amd 64 cpu in the next couple days. I will be getting some pc4000 ram in a couple weeks to finish it. My question is, is it worth it to pay the extra money for the 3200+(200 with stock heatsink on newegg.com) to get the 10x multi over the 3000+(160 with stock heatsink on newegg.com). My reasoning is this.... if i have the pc4000 ram then 1:1 ratio 10x250 gives me an even 2500mhz, while with the same ram and divider then i get 9x250 gives 2250mhz. The ram im looking at is this http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/reviews/memory/Kingmax_PC4000_2.html. It has only good reviews i can find, sorda loose timings, but not really such thing as pc4000 with tight timing, and at $169 its hard to beat. This review show an overclock to 270, which would fit right in with 10x multi to get everything out of the winni on stock cooling for sure at 1:1. Thanks, let me know what yall think.
