I have a Winbook X4 that was given to me. The computer starts up fine and will run idle for some time. When I actually start running a program it will lock up tighter than a drum and I have to use the power button to shut it down. It will not start again for 15-20 minutes and the cycle starts over. It seems to be a heat related issue. I took it to a shop and they said it was either the processor, or the main board. I am hoping it is the processor as I can replace it cheaply
4-M 1.8Ghz.
I am looking for any toher ideas to diagnose what could be going on. I am probably just going to buy a processor and see if it works.
Thanks,
Steve
