A friend sent me a link. While I don't have the money to spend on it, another friend was looking for a laptop and got it so it should still be available. I haven't seen it yet myself, but looks to be an awesome deal.

What they are offering is a 800 MHz laptop with DVD, 14" display, 64 MB of ram and a 6 GB hard drive. All for the price of $1999. This is from their page:

I don't want to be a downer, because this is a good deal, but not a great one. Here's why. Intel currently only makes the Mobile PIII up to 750MHz. The Winbook is basically a 440BX motherboard with FC-PGA socket. It's running a desktop chip, which means it will run hotter than a laptop with a mobile chip, and its battery life isn't as good. The page says 4.5hrs, but it will most likely be 1 to 2 under normal circumstances.
