winblows keeps dropping my lan and internet passwords, whats going on??

I have two machines the same on my home lan. Both run '98 and tweakui for the auto lan logon.
My machine drops the lan autologon password and all my DUN passwords every other boot, ie after I've re-entered them all. My other machine has no troubles at all.
I have the latest nortons antivirus sigs on both machines.
Any ideas????
