Winamp won't play .wav files. :(

what's needed to fix this? it plays mp3's but won't play wav's anymore.

you drag it into the playlist? Check associations?

I can add a .wav to a playlist, but its not decoding/playing it. occasionally I hear a second or two of garbled scratch...no music tho and the progress slider doesn't move.

any1 else?

Do wavs play in other apps like Media Player? Try reinstalling Winamp 2/3, making sure to include the WAV plugin during setup.
