Winamp stops streaming music??

Downloaded winamp a few weeks ago and checked that it is the latest version.
While listening to music thru winamp it will stop streaming. Sometimes the music plays for 15 to 20 minutes and sometimes for 30 to 60 minutes.
I have winamp running on 2 computers and the same problem is on both computers. Streaming just stops.

I have Norton 360 installed on both computers and suspect that whatever Norton does in the background is causing the streaming to stop. (Just a wild guess)
Is there problems with winamp?
Or is norton the problem? Would love to completely disable norton if I could. (but cannot find how to do it)
I reinstalled winamp and that didn't help.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
 
Where are you streaming from? Who's your ISP? Do you have any other machine to test with? Issue could be on your end, or on the servers end...best you can do is troubleshoot your side..
 
At home my isp is Verizon fios.
I visited my daughter yesterday and used her isp which is Comcast and the streaming stopped there. I think that eliminates the isp as the problem.
I was on line with Norton last night to see if I can disable Norton. Other then completely removing Norton it looks like it disabling it can't be done.
When I go into the services screen to disable norton and remove the check mark, when I clock apply the check mark come back.
I will look at the firewall settings on norton next.
Anyone have additional suggestions?
 
If it happens in completely other computer and other ISP, the problem is probably from their servers.

I assume that this problem disappear in other streaming services (?)
 
I "partially" solved the problem.
The skin that I am using displays the album art. I disabled the show album art feature and the music streams for hour or more. Was able to go over 2 hours and another time it dropped after 30 minutes.. The 30 minute drop time happened once. It is a little more stable now. Still will do more looking to clear the problem completely.
