Winamp - song info for streaming music

I'm using Winamp 2.81 and while listening to online radio listed on winamp's site, I used to be able to view the artist and song name but now all I get is the server IP and stream number. For example, instead of the artist and song name, I'd get "http://1.1.1.1/STREAM/1022" .
or was that feature only in winamp3? I used that for a bit but I hated how winamp3 took so much longer to load than winamp2.

any ideas?
 
I don't know how to fix your problem, but 2.81 does show the info. It would either be a setting in Winamp being disabled on your end or perhaps the internet radio you are listening to doesn't transmit the info. Is it not displaying any info on any station?
