Chronix Aggression (I hope that link works!)

^ 128Kbps Shoutcast stream, 24/7, no commercials - all rock/metal... I listen to it 8 hours a day at work and it's great.

Their website used to list the playlist but it's been broken for 2-3 months now - possibly intentionally due to RIAA issues?

In any case, check it.

I have a winamp question. I just downloaded it, and am playing music, or at least I am trying. It goes a few minutes, then stops. What gives?

Thanks John, those are some good stations but I'm still in search of better ones.

You are probably on a crowded server. If you know the name of the station, look it up on Winamp's minibrowser or on their website on your regular browser. Then find the link to their streams. there are sometimes 2 to choose from, dialup and broadband. Pick the right one for your net connection. Then drag the link into the Winamp playlist. You should end up with more than one stream on your playlist after that. Pick the one that doesn't skip. Aslo some might have two numbers seprated by slashes. like 345/1050 or something like that. This shows the number of people currently listening / max number of listeners. Pick the server with the least number of listeners and the most number of max listeners allowed on that server.

The streams I posted earlier are broadband streams. If you only have dialup you'll have to find the dialup stream links as I showed you above.
