the developer was one of the key desingers from the winamp 2.x team i beileve... anyway, fb2k is hailed as the best mp3 player at the moment, defeinitely worth a look. in case minimalist interface doesnt appeal to you much, keep in mind once you download columns_UI you can make it look pretty slick too
