I've never seen any music actually in these formats... but I got a few songs now in .aac and .ogg format and I'd prefer to play them in Winamp (using v2.90). I checked the plugins page but didn't really see any plugins that allow new format support... Is there such a thing? Although I suppose I could use media player if Winamp won't play it.

2.9? I just downloaded and installed v5.04 and it plays ogg files nicely (full version, not lite). Maybe a simple upgrade is in order?

imo, if you have multiformats, the best audio player is foobar. native support for all!

I tried Foobar not long ago and didn't like it at all. And hey I was using winamp 2.8 lite for so damn long till my hdd effed up and I just happened to find 2.9 instead, not that they really differ much. It is very simple and does just what I need (I use MPC for video playback) till these damn .ogg files...! I had figured the new 5.x versions would play it natively just I thought there would be a plugin.
