I noticed the other day that I can't run Winamp's visualization thingie at fullscreen. (It runs, but it is pretty choppy, not smooth at all.) I have an Athlon1.2 GHz processor on an Abit KT7-A RAID mobo with an ATI Radeon 64 MB VIVO video card and 512 MB of RAM, all running under Win 2k Pro. It seems to me that I should be able to run this without any problems. What do you think, is this enough hardware? Is the Winamp default plug-in just sorry? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks...

You have it set to high im sure I have a 1.4Ghz Thunderbird and a Geforce 2 GTS 64MB card 256MB ram and win2k pro too my problem was I was running it at 1024x768 32bit color and 85hz I believe you need to kick it down to the lowest resolution and keep it at 32 bit color it should run fine then

yeah what's the story with these plugins? it's as if they don't utilize the hardware at all or something.. I don't think I saw any boost in performance going from a 3dfx Voodoo 3 to an ATi Radeon..

I assume you're all talking about the same plugin, the Nullsoft Tiny Fullscreen with the Random Intelligent Visualization? that plugin kicks ass, but I don't run it at anything higher than 800x600x32, or it starts to get choppy..

I'm on an AMD Duron 800 btw, running at 133mhz fsb instead of 100mhz..
