It's using 0% on my Realtek onboard right now.
It depends somewhat on the features used. CMSS-3D for headphones is moderately CPU intensive due to the HRTFs and spatializaiton technologies used. These are normally done on the X-Fi hardware without an issue, however they have to be done in software under Vista due to the UAA. On my older rig, I measured it at about 10% of a 4600+ when done in software, and of course 0% once I Alchemized Winamp.Originally posted by: 0roo0roo
