Winamp is a total woman

Hahaha, that's pretty funny. Kind of like that story about TiVo thinking the guy was gay and recording all Ozone and Lifetime shows. 😛

Apparently you have a lot of Madonna.

Winamp is a woman, or the person that loaded so much Madonna into it? You decide. LOL 🙂

Actually, both. The horrors of living with a woman.

As for why I'm allowing Winamp to continue playing it, we have speakers in every room connected to a central music player, which has our entire library loaded into it (Winamp will periodically crash to the point of needing to be reinstalled because there's so damned much) - changing the track off the other person's music is practically a sin when they're around, unless you're changing it to something mutually agreed upon.

I SWEAR TO GOD.

\Eiffel 65\Eiffel 65 - Europop\01 - Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee).mp3

rofl. I just got "TURN THAT CRAP OFF!" shouted at me from the next room. At least she doesn't like it, either.

Sounds like a sweet setup. So there's continuous music throughout every room you walk into.

Yep. It's the very first thing I did when we moved in - spent 40+ hours running CAT5 and placing speakers in every open space. It's all based around a dozen sets of Altec Lansing 2.1 speakers that shipped with some Dells back in the day. Backhauled the control on the speakers as well, so I can turn them on/off, and adjust volume and such at the patch panel.
