5 more or less is 2; it's the same great core, now with a new crunchy exterior.

just installed the newest RC8 version. This is nice! I went with Itunes because i liked the playlist/library feature. Now Winamp has it! Back to winamp for me

for some strange reason winamp 2.x crashed alot on my system. no crashes at all with winamp 5.
so for me, winamp 5 > winamp 2.x

Uh, what was wrong with Winamp 3? I've never had a problem with it and I've been running it since it was released. I guess I'll upgrade.

I've found 5 to be great. I've been using it since the alpha version and it rocks. Just like 2 but with lots of new stuff and none of the hog that was 3.

Why isn't Winamp5 linked in the offical Winamp website? I'm a little skepitical of downloading from third party websites without any indication or announcement from Nullsoft.
