Winamp 2 question

Is there a way to dock it in minimized form at the top of the window, sort of like what office does, so that maximized windows don't cover it? Thanks in advance.

You can check the "Always on top" option. I run with the Main Window and Playlist Editor next to each other at the top of the screen, both minimized, far enough from the right edge of the sceen so they do not cover the window buttons.
