Winamp 2.71

Does anyone know what codec it uses? After upgrading from 2.666, it feels like a huge memory hog.

2.71's MP3 decoder is supposed to be a less buggy version of the MMX/SSE optimised Fraunhoffer codec that came with version 2.666

I encountered a problem, maybe some of you happen to know the solution. I set the Winamp to appear in "taskbar only", so when I click the icon in taskbar, it's suppose to maximize, it's still working just a few hours ago, but now it refuses to maximize after I minized it. What do you think?

Had that problem happen to me before, the only solution was to uninstall it and reinstall again.

Try right-clicking on your taskbar and selecting tile or cascade windows, see if that works

Tried it, no go.

It cascaded all my IE windows, didnt do anything to winamp. The only thing I can do do reopen Winamp after minimization is to open Winamp through a shortcut or the executable file.

I made a mistake, I actually set the display at &quot;system trey only&quot;, not &quot;taskbar only&quot;. It wont maximize, any help?
