Win98se progam list problem and IE favorites list problem

The program list is not alphbetical. It keeps adding new programs at the bottom.

In IE the favorites you don't see favorites that are there. If you use explorer and look at your favorites they are all there. Index problem?

any ideas how to fix these?

To re-sort the program list in the start menu, right-click on the menu you want to alphabetize, and choose 'sort by name'. You'll have to do it every time you install a new program, though.

For your IE problem, go into your Advanced Settings and uncheck "Enable personalized favorites" (or something similar, just disable personalized favorites)... IE hides the favorites you have not used recently...
