Win98se Boot Up Problem

OK I am setting up my extra computer with Windows 98se. I formated my hard drive and then installed Win98se. But when it restarts and goes to boot up in Win98se I get an error that says Bad or missing Command Interpreter Enter name of Command Interpreter (for example, C:\Windows\Command.com)
Can somebody here please tell me how to go about fixing this?

if you have a win98 boot disk
boot yo a:
type sys A: C:
that should solve your problem...

did you fdisk & create an active partition before you formatted?
