Win98/WinNT4 Network problems

Hi, all!

I am having a problem with a local network that I work on. The server in WinNT4 and all of the clients are Win98. I have a directory on the server set as my home directory. I then have a script that runs everytime I log on to any computer on the network. It is: "net use w: /home" and the w: drive maps successfully. Everything is fine, so far.

The only difference between the clients is that some of them have multiple profiles turned on, and some of them have multiple profiles turned off. If I log on to any computer with profiles turned on, then the following things appear in my home directory:

History
Cookies
Application Data
User.dat

I realize what these are, and I've figured out that they are only put on the network if I log onto a computer with profiles installed. If I log on to any other computer and delete them, they are just restored the next time I log on to a profile enabled computer. Oh well....

However, I do have a folder under my home directory that is shared separately, also. It is so that my home drive is "\\server\home\" and the folder shared is "\\server\home\music". I have it shared separately so that I can access it from within my home folder, while others can also access it without gaining access to my personal home folder files. For some reason, the above listed files suddenly appear in "\\server\home\music" for no reason. If I delete them, they are back in a little while.

I can't figure it out. There is nobody mapping my music folder, and it isn't set as anyone's home drive, so what in the world is going on? I can't figure it out. I realize that it is a minor inconvenience, but hey - it's still something that needs solving.

Please help, if you can think of any solutions!
