I moved my hard disk from the ATA100 to the ATA33 and my cd-rom ribbon. however when ever I reebooted, windows tells me this on a blue screen;
"The volume that was removed had open files on it. Next time please check first to see if the volume can really be removed" whatever that means. and then I get all sort's of BSOD's. Of course windows help is useless. Anyone ever have this happen to them.
Update: I have put the drive back onto the ATA/66 cable on the ATA/100 connecter and everything is fine. but I would like to move it. This drive only has backup data on it. No installed sotware ect.
