Win98-> use Office97 or Office2k?

i'm putting together a duron 700mhz system for my parents. all they do is internet and Word.

i'm going to use Win98.

Any advantage of Office2k over Office97?

Office 2k is much more robust than Office 97 not to mention better supported and not nearly as buggy. If you have Office 2k why not use it? It'll run fine on that machine.

Office2K worked for me when I still used Win98 and I continue to use it instead of OfficeXP and Office 2003. It's the best version of Office I've ever used.

Dig up an old copy of Office95, it loads and runs much quicker. 😛
