I just finished installing windows 98 on my other computer and on bootup, it gives an error saying it can't find lmouse.vxd or something of that sort. The system still works fine but is there a way i can fix this or disable the message?
the message comes in a dos window before it gets to windows
thanks 🙂

You should be able to extract that file from your installation CD on replace it. Somebody posted all the steps for doing this yesterday - take a look at the posts from yesterday.

Start/Run type SFC and click okay. Extract one file...... and type in the file name. Click start and then point it to your WIN CD or WIN DIR.
