Someone posted a suggestion for fixing an issue with a user who had more than 256MB of memory. This was a few months ago. i forgot what the suggestion was nor can I find it. If someone knows registry or .ini changes that I should make if I am running Windows 98 with lots of memory, please let me know. Thanks.

go into the system properties in control panel, change your "computers role" to network server, that will use up slightly more of your ram. or upgrade to win2k

There is a problem with Windows systems running more than 512MB of RAM. Here is the Microsoft technote on it.

perhaps you can let use know what problems you are having as you have less than 512Mb of ram so that fix is not for you! :)

I don't have any problems. I friend was going to run 1GB of system memory because he couldn't get a program to run in Win2K and I remembered reading something about somebody having problems with running a lot of memory. Thanks for the info fellas. :)
