Win98 or WinME

I am going to load up on or the other, win98 is not SE. XP is not really an option, because I don't have the drivers to run the stuff I need to run. IDeas? Thanks todd

In general, Win98 (even the first edition) is far superior to WinME. However, I'd want to know exactly what hardware I was working with. Further, if drivers are an issue, you may want to consider that every successive version of Windows comes with more drivers than it's predecessor.

also consider microsoft is ending all support of Win98 in June, and in fact seems to be already starting to phase it out (see my post to OS forum an hour or two ago).
