Hey.
Im having this problem on my computer where my desktop does not display the wallpaper and when i right click on My Computer and go to properties i only get the general and performance tabs. I ran the smitfraud reg fixer but that didnt do it, I have done the win98 repair and that didnt do it either, does anyone know what it could be.

you probably need to re-install your video card drivers, and possibly your monitor drivers. I remember having this happen occasionally on Win98.
 
There is a spyware exploit that makes some of the tabs disappear, and goofs up the desktop appearance. The entries they talk about are for XP, but they may be in the same spot in 98.
