I am refurbing a P100 that I got for free to give to a pcless friend. It booted fine with win 3.1 when I got it but then I formatted the drive in accordance with the donor's wishes. Bad move.
first I couldn't get a cd driver that would work with the 2x mitsumi and it's creative 16 controller card. I solved that by pulling another old HD, a 1xCD! and card from another donated junker. A side issue but comments are welcome.
So I got 98 installed, but when it finally booted I got a screen of ~8 image repeats layered across the screen. It's not like I can even see well enough to play with driver or monitor settings. The cards fcc says it's a Palit Microsystems Inc card.
Any help would be welcome, I should have known no good deed goes unpunished.
