win98 and intel ata driver problems

hello everybody at anadtech,

i have a win98SE on i810 seagate uata66(pri-master) and asus cds500/a(slave) i have intel ultra ata storage driver ver6.10 whenever i install it i get bad crc errors while unzipping files and explorer errors like("invalid page fault at..&quot😉 "and explorer caused an error at mshmdtl.dll etc) and all this strange behaviour disappears when i uninstall the drivers,

i have latest versions of drivers and compatible hard ware
please help

The Intel ATA drivers are not essential for the system: if you are having major problems, you can run the system fine without them.
