Windows Protection Error in NDIS with a CPU That Is Faster Than 2.1 GHz (Q312108)

was not aware of such an issue, talk about odd....put together a system just recently for a friend, lucky for him he decided to get the 2.0GHz not the 2.4GHz like he wanted.....never would have solved that one....thanx for the heads up.

Guess it doesn't affect all systems, I am running at 2.56gig and have Win98SE.

W98SE works fine but W98 needs a newer version of NDIS.VXD. Maybe if you enabled your profile (that contained your email address) someone could email it to you.

Man, I bet a > 2.2 gig would make a Win95 install scream, if you could still find drivers for everything. Since MS isn't supporting Win95 anymore, I wonder how long it will be before driver support dies off.
