Win98 + AMD Question

I always ran Win2K, but I'm building a rig running Windows 98 now (not Second Edition, original release). It'll be running a 1.4GHz Thunderbird on an EPoX 8K7A+. I remember that with all AMD systems running Win2K, there were some weird AGP issues, like the large page minimum thingy that you had to run a registry patch to fix. Is there anything like this that needs to be installed when running Win98? Obviously I need to install the miniport drivers and bus mastering drivers, but I'm curious if anything else is needed. I did nothing to get Win98 (original) to run with my T-bird 1.2/Abit KT7A-RAID. After Windows is installed, just run the latest AMD & VIA 4in1, then the video drivers. The hardest part is putting in all the security patches and updates put out since 98. I use updates.cnet.com and the Windows Update Corporate download site, which lists all the patches in one place.
